Large Japanese porcelain bowl, the petal lobed form painted inside with a lattice of carnation leaves in underglaze blue, embellished with red buds on a gold ground, the center with tightly packed carnation heads in red, the outside with a repeating flowerhead frieze.
10 character script mark,
Meiji period,
circa 1890.
26.5cm wide, 7cm high
