This handle shape is speculated to be Coalport, but could be someone else in Staffordshire – Sandon illustrates several examples of the same mug shape & handle in his ‘Grainger’s Worcester’ book, p99, as examples that are NOT Graniger’s !
Two Thomas Pinsons’s appear in the records, one a Blacksmith of Wolverhampton who was married in 1847 – another who was born in 1849 in Essington, Staffordshire.
