Liverpool punch bowl, by James Pennington, Brownlow Hill Works, well painted in blue with the ‘Temple Rock’ pattern, including a standing fisherman & a large boat with seated figure, the interior with a lattice border.
Circa 1765
16cm wide, 6.5cm high
Excellent condition – the rim with several minute micro-chips not visible but found by touch, overall fine condition.
Not common, and in great condition – the edge comes down to around a 1mm thichness, beautifully pottery & the painting is a delight.
