Pair of large Renaissance-style terracotta busts, depicting an aristocratic couple in 16th century costume, set on squared sockles with small relief landscapes within moulded frames, the whole lightly coloured in pigments. .
Impressed mark ‘EE” within a wreath, also no. ‘234’,
German/Austrian, c. 1880

Pencil inscription underneath identifies them as ‘HENRY VIII’ and ‘Anne Boleyn’ ; however, they’re more likely to be a Continental identity of the same period.
