Qajar Iran reverse painted small mirror, painted in colours with a bird before flowering plants including a large iris, set in original frame with inlaid edge.

Good condition with minor scratches, frame good.
These interesting items were painted in oils onto a thick pane of glass in reverse, which was then coated in a mirror surface. The frame was made at the same time, and is original.
