Papua New Guinea carved wooden mask, the elongated oval form with large blank ‘eye sockets’ and narrow inlaid shell eyes, long narrow. black-nose, and snake up forehead carved proud of the surface, the whole ground with carved ‘eye’ motif picked out in red & white ochre.
