Large watercolour, depicting the interior of a large stone-paved hall, hosting a card game between two gents and a priest, another gent providing musical entertainment on a lute, a woman approaching with a wine jug, large wine barrels visible through an arch at the rear; the whole with superb details to all portions of the work, framed in original elaborate gilt gesso frame with wide gilt mount.

Condition: excellent, colours showing little sign of age, frame plaster with some touch-ups to gold & small cracks, stable & displays well.
