Rogers earthenware plate, printed in blue rim to rim with an ‘Indian Scenery’ print, depicting a camel passing by an elaborate building, within a narrow diaper & flowerhead border.

Condition: rim with stained crack 3 o’clock, several knife cuts through glee to surface; displays well.
John & George Rogers ran the Dale Hall Pottery in Longport, Staffordshire, 1784-1814. The same mark was continued by John Rogers & Son until 1836.
