Samson of Paris snuffbox or bonbonniere, modelled after a Meissen original of the mid 18th century, probably a head of Neptune by J.J.Kaendler, with a gilt metal lid engraved with flowers.
Imitation crossed swords & ‘S’ mark in underglaze blue, a known Samson mark,
