Sitzendorf flower encrusted potpourri vase & cover, after an English Bow example of the 1760’s, the baluster form with pierced panels and applied life-size flowers, a small petal-form handle to either side with childs face, the whole picked out in enamels & gold.

Condition: restorations & losses – lid has been broken & restuck, flowers lost & restored, base surprisingly good condition. Black tape ensures the lid is now a tight fit and therefore stable.
