$480.00 AUD
Spode plate with rich decoration in the Dr Wall Worcester manner, with a bright central boquet of flowers surrounded by a deep blue band bearing ornate gilt scrollwork rims.
Pattern 3162.
Red ‘SPODE’ script mark,

21cm wide
Good condition with some minor wear to gold.
A Worcester equivalent would be 1765-75, making this an interesting re-visit to a past fashion by Spode 50 years later.
Bears a paper label for Joshua McClelland, a mid-20th century Melbourne dealer, and also the ‘BADA’ import seal indicating it was antique when imported into Australia at around that time.
