Art Nouveau pottery vase, with globular body and tall neck with sloping angular handles, the body woth reserves of mottled moulding, a frieze of flower heads to the rim, the whole lightly glazed with a metallic bronzed finish. References | Tooth was promoted from a workman to manager at the Lindthorpe pottery by Dr Christopher Dresser. He left in 1883 and set up Tooth & Ault, becoming Tooth & Co after Ault set up his own pottery in 1887. Made in England was introduced in 1900, while CLANTA wares were introduced in 1914 |
