Victorian Jewellery box, the domed burr walnut veneer lid inset with large panel of flower marquetry, framed with intricate bands of a chevron pattern, the sides with similar panels, the interior with tooled gilt leather bordering ruffled blue silk lining opening to reveal a document space, a paper lined tray to the body with large space beneath, with burgundy felt to the base.

Condition: some shrinkage to the under-timber frame has led to crevices in the veneer of the lid; some small losses, the flower panel in excellent condition , the ruffled silk inside the lid frayed in places, minor wear to paper lining- very usable, and further dividers to the tray can be added on request.
