Handsome Victorian ruby overlay glass vase, painted with flower panels alternating with diamond cutting, the foot with white overlay panels, the whole elaborately gilt with foliate designs.
Circa 1865

Has a hard-to-see crack midway thru the flower panels, beginning at the rim and spiralling around at the midpoint – only noticable when looking inside, displays well. Minor wear to gold.
