Wedgwood Creamwareware plate, painted to the centre with the crest of Wallace of Kelly, double eagle heads, within a double red line rim, the rim with a wide band of red lattice & gilt flowerhead pattern, within a gold line rim.

Condition: Heavily restored with evidence of a break to one side of crest.
Robert Wallace of Kelly traced his ancestry to William Wallace himself, the great Scottish hero.
This would have been used in Kelly House, located overlooking Wemyss Bay, Ayrshire, Scotland.
