Unusual English Arts & Crafts covered jug, the hand-beaten body with electroplate finish, modelled on an 18th century form, with receding beaded detail beneath the spout, the thick handle with heart-shaped thumb piece to hinge, the tall domed lid with inset original George II silver coin dated 1723 .
