Elegant Chinese  Elm armchair of horseshoe back form, the curved backrail extending beyond the curved front supports & ending in out-curved hooks, a plain splat to the back and solid seat, the rounded profile legs with multiple stretchers and broader front rail.

Signs of age, with some probable well-done splices to legs, very stable & usable. Some whitewash paint up underneath the seat panel.
