Skønvirke - Hornpainting - involves a cow horn with the end cut off and a goose quill tip insert being used as a method for applying slip. Founded in 1839, the Kahler works is still functioning as a pottery. They are regarded as examples of the late flowering ‘Danish Art-Nouveau’
