English enamel patch box, the oval form with hand-painted image, with two birds perched on cupid’s bow above the inscription ‘A Trifle from BRIGHTON’, framed by a flower wreath and pearl ‘beaded’ border, the base plain pink, with original mirror.

Condition: some overpainting especially to the base, the top is good, displays well – mirror has become mottled with age.
