Jackfield glaze teapot, of globular form with ‘crabstock’ handle & plain spout, the knop formed as a flowerhead, the glaze an interesting mottled brown presenting as ‘black’.
Circa 1780
Condition: good, very minor signs of age, photographs are revealing scratching & marks to the black surface not visible to the naked eye – presents very well.
