Handsome large Paris Porcelain vase, painted with a continuous scene of classical figures in sepia tones, one side with Diana and her companions following their hunting hounds through a forest, the other depicting the love of Diana and Orion, his dog at his feet and two cupid in clouds above, the twin handles, rim & foot in gold, a band of flower garlands within.
Circa 1810
30cm high, rim 23cm.
Condition: handles overpainted, presumed restored; some re-touching to gold on rim, painted panel is good.
