Elaborate Meigh saltglaze jug, decorated with relief moulded figures of water nymphs and attendants against a blue ground, a swan beneath the spout, another forming the handle with a bearded face to the base, the lower portion with a procession of nymphs amongst bullrushes, some with trident trumpets.
Diamond registration mark for 1856,
