The Ceramics Library

Did you know the Reference Library in our Geelong premises is available for anyone to visit & use in shop hours?

We recently clocked over 1,500 books on ceramics & glass….. with so many books, we have most categories of Antique Ceramics covered.

And more importantly, there are over 2,000 pieces of pottery & porcelain, which act as a comparative library: used to compare to ‘unknown pieces, the documented Reference Library pieces allow a direct comparison, and therefore an opinion to be formed on any unknown pieces.

This is the core of our profession; examples along with documentation mean we can be certain of what we sell. This is how we can Guarantee the Authenticity of what we sell at Moorabool Antique Galleries.
